Mr. Kim is a founding partner of GV IP Law Firm and has 27 years of experience in intellectual property
law. Mr. Kim’s experience covers a wide range of IP matters, including prosecution, litigation, licensing,
and other enforcement related services. He drafted and prosecuted numerous patent applications in the
electrical field, including strategic prosecution of key patent applications for potential enforcement
cases. He also managed patent portfolios of major foreign companies that file hundreds of applications per
year in Korea. Mr. Kim was intimately involved in several patent litigations, which included pre-litigation
analysis in the field of display, image processing, internet-related technologies, and semiconductor
manufacturing equipment.
